Gordy Simanton

Gordy brings 30 years of sales and marketing experience and 7+ years of solar industry experience to SolarStone.  He leads all permitting and project management for SolarStone’s community solar assets, and has successfully permitted over a 100 MW’s of community solar projects, which have been financed across dozens of jurisdictions in multiple states. Gordy has additionally been a major contributor to the dozens of other projects in SolarStone’s pipeline that will soon be financed.  In 2020,  Mr. Simanton led permitting, development, and project management for SolarStone’s 14 MW solar project in Rochester, MN in conjunction with the Rochester Public Utility and the Mayo Clinic.  Mr. Simanton holds a degree in Mass Communications from Eastern Washington University.
