Kaya Tarhan

Kaya brings 30 years of experience developing energy projects in the U.S. and Internationally. Kaya began his career with ERG Insaat as Development Manager, working on the 300 MW Yedigoze Dam project. Following ERG, Kaya served as Development Manager for RES America’s in the upper Midwest developing a portfolio of 1 GW of wind energy. Following RES America’s, Kaya headed up a new business unit as Development Director of the Turkish operations of Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Ltd. While there, Kaya led a team of developers and functional experts and successfully developed ~200 MWs of wind projects while building a pipeline of over 1000 MW’s of solar assets. Subsequently and before co-founding SolarStone, Kaya founded Bridge-Rock Inc, developing commercial and industrial solar projects in the North East U.S. and Turkey. Mr. Tarhan holds an advanced degree from the University of Phoenix, Graduate School of Business, Phoenix, Arizona, with a Master of Business Administration in Energy Management, Magna Cum Laude.
