As Chief Commercial Officer of SolarStone, Matthew is focused on leading the overall business strategy and driving company growth. With 13 years of experience in the energy/solar industry, Matthew has worked in both Fortune 250 companies as well as start-ups to help drive renewables growth in the United States. Prior to joining SolarStone, Matthew worked at Clearway Energy Group, one of the largest renewable energy companies in the country. At Clearway, focused on business development, he was a critical part of the launch and success of the company’s community solar business, which deployed more than $1 billion in capital across over 100 solar farms to become the industry leader in acquiring, developing, financing, and operating such projects. Before Clearway, Matthew was an integral part of the acquisitions team within the renewables division of NRG Energy Inc., a division that was later acquired and stood up as Clearway. Matthew graduated with a B.S in Mathematical Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
